The houndstooth fabric is the fabric bicolor pattern of certain tissues, characterized by the repetition of small abstract figures of four points that resemble square games. The traditional colors are black and white, although other colors can now replace the black.
Long time ago, houndstooth fabric comes from the wool woven from the Lowlands Scots, 1 although today many other materials are used.
