Folding chaise lounge chair – Lounge chairs do not need to be thrown out when the tape is torn or hanging from years of use. New bands can give old chaise years of extra life. When you clean up the framework, you can begin to remove and replace the old band.
Instructions for making folding chaise lounge chair: Use a screwdriver and wrench to remove the screws and nuts that hold the horizontal band on the chaise. Fold the ends of one of the lengths of webbing. Count the number of horizontal strips of tape you have removed. Cut the same number of bands that you removed from the armchair. Fold over the end of a strip of tape as it was folded on the strip of webbing you removed. The end becomes public triangular. Use a utility knife to make a hole through the tape. Put the screw through the band. Place the band with the screw on the outside of the chaise. Insert nut on the back of the screw. Use the wrench and screwdriver to tighten the belt in place.
Fold the other side of the strip. Pull the tape to the other side of the folding chaise lounge chair. Make a mark on the tape where the screw hole must be done. Use the utility knife to make holes and attach the tape to the daybed frame with screws and nuts.
